was commissioned in India by M/s.
Jardine Skinner Inc., London under
their banner. This company was amalgamated
with M/s. Henderson Group and renamed
JARDINE HENDERSON LIMITED by
Metha Group while taking over for
Jardine Skinner. Presently the company
has Mr. Rakesh Macwan as Managing
Director. Our Director Board has 8
Directors. Our Annual turnover is
Rs.500 Core.
Jardine's has apart from Pest Control
Division other varied activities as
Real Estate, Tea Gardens and Marketing,
Carton manufacturing, Printing, etc.
Jardine's are pioneers in Pest control
in India. They are members of National
Pest Control Association, Virginia,
the only have branches at Kolkata,
Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Durgapur,
Guntur, Haldia, Hyderabad, Mumbai,
New Delhi, Ranchi, Siliguri, Taratala
and Vadodara.
Our Pest Control Divison has its
Head Office at #4, Dr. Rajendra Prasad
Sarani, Kolkata and manned by Mr.C.A.
Brown, CEO who has over thirty
years of experience in this field.
Mr.B.M. Lakshmeesh, Senior General
Manager heads the Accounts and
operation for entire India.

Our Chairman |

Chairman:
Mr.Surendralal Girdharilal Mehta |
|
Shri
Surendralalji
was born in 1937 in Kolkata.
His late father, Sri Girdharilal
Mehta was a leading industrialist
and businessman in the
country and was known
for his philanthropy and
social service. A Post-Graduate
in English Litera-ture,
Shri Surendralalji joined
Jardine Henderson
in 1959 where he had the
rare opportunity of working
closely with many Europeans.
He acquainted himself
with the various disciplines
of business and served
in many capacities to
reach the top and became
the Chairman of the company.
Our Chairman is also
the President of the Prestigious
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.

He possesses rich knowledge
in the areas covering
Jute Mills, Tea Gardens,
Coal Mines, Paper and
Packaging Cos, Insurance
Cos, Engineering Cos,
Shipping and other agencies.
His activities in the
field of industry include
as Chairman of Infar (India)
Ltd. (now Organon India
Ltd.), and Chairman of
APE Belliss Co. He was
associated with the Indian
Chamber of Commerce, and
also Bengal Chamber for
many years. Shri Surendralalji
interests vary from sports
to Vedic studies and social
work. He is a Trustee
of Mumukshu Bhavan, Nagari
Natak Mandali both of
Varanasi and Sri Lakshmi
Narayan Mandir Trust,
Kolkata.
He was President, Gujarati
Education Society and
is associated with many
Gujarati Associations.
He is the founder Chairman
of the G. L. Mehta
Foundation which is
doing great humanitarian
service including that
of fully-free medical
help, diagnostic as well
as treatment to the poor.
The foundation's contribution
to the Arts and Culture
is outstanding.
Shri Surendralalji is
a Trustee of Shri Bhagwat
Vidyapith, Ahmedabad and
B. S. Mehta Trust of Kolkata.
He became Bhavan's Trustee
and Executive Committee
Member in 1971 and Vice-President
in 2003 and now holds
the post of the President
of Bharatiya vidya Bhavan.
